Frequently asked questions
What respite options do you offer?
Weekend respite, overnight care, and short or longer term stays - in your home or in supported accommodation, with nurse-led care available 24/7.
Planning a respite stay
We begin by discussing the participant’s support needs, routines, communication preferences, goals and the type of break being considered. We also confirm dates, staffing requirements, accessibility needs and whether the requested stay is within our current service capacity.
What a stay may include
Respite and Short Term Accommodation can include support with personal care, meals, daily routines and participation in suitable activities. The exact arrangements depend on the participant’s assessed needs, agreed plan and available NDIS funding. We explain what is included before the stay is confirmed.
Choice, comfort and safety
Participants are involved in planning how they spend their time. We aim to create a comfortable experience while following documented support requirements, medication arrangements and agreed risk-management procedures. Families and representatives receive clear contact information for the stay.
