Frequently asked questions
Is assistance with daily living covered by my NDIS plan?
Yes. Daily living supports are funded under Core Supports (Assistance with Daily Life) in most NDIS plans. We work with you, your plan manager or support coordinator to deliver supports within your funding.
Support built around everyday routines
Daily living support is planned with the participant, not imposed on them. We discuss preferred routines, communication needs, personal goals and the tasks where assistance would be most useful. Support can be adjusted as needs, confidence or circumstances change.
What support may include
Depending on the participant’s NDIS plan and agreed service schedule, assistance may include personal care, showering and dressing, meal preparation, medication reminders, shopping, household routines and support to build practical daily skills. The participant remains involved in decisions and is encouraged to do as much as they comfortably can.
Worker matching and consistency
We consider skills, availability, personality and communication preferences when matching support workers. Consistent workers can help participants feel comfortable and establish reliable routines. Participants can provide feedback about their support and request changes when needed.
